These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase or rental of products from Royal Balloon, accessible at www.royalballoon.ie. By ticking the box at checkout, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, you will not be able to order any goods or services from our website.

1. Balloon Decor & Rental Items

1.1 Definitions

·       Product: Custom-made, inflated balloon items delivered ready for use (e.g., helium balloons, only balloons from arches, only balloons from garlands, only balloons from decorations). These are for one-time use and remain with the customer.

·       Rented Product: Reusable items provided temporarily for your event (e.g., backdrops, frames, cake stands, artificial flowers, hoops, easels). These remain the property of Royal Balloon.

1.2 Rental Agreement

·       Rented items are delivered and installed by our team and collected after the event or at an agreed time.

·       Standard collection occurs immediately post-event unless otherwise arranged.

·       Customers must store rented items securely and in a dry location until collection.

1.3 Care & Responsibility

·       Rented items must be returned in the same condition.

·       Customers are responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the rental period.

·       Replacement costs will be charged for damaged or lost items.

1.4 Ownership

·       Inflated balloon decorations are considered purchased and non-returnable.

·       Rented items remain the property of Royal Balloon and are for temporary use only.

1.5 Liability

·       We are not liable for injury, damage, or inconvenience caused by misuse of products or rented items.

·       Customers must ensure children and guests do not tamper with decorations or rentals.

2. Application of Terms

·       2.1 These terms apply to all sales and rentals of goods and services provided by us via our website, phone, email, or in person.

·       2.2 No contract exists until we dispatch the goods or confirm the rental.

·       2.3 Each order is deemed an offer to purchase or rent subject to these terms.

·       2.4 You must ensure your order details and specifications are complete and accurate.

·       2.5 These terms override any other terms or conditions unless agreed in writing.

3. Description of Goods

·       3.1 Goods will conform in all material respects to the specifications provided and accepted by us.

·       3.2 We reserve the right to amend specifications without prior notice, provided performance is not adversely affected.

4. Website Access

·       4.1 Registration is not required to use most parts of our website.

·       4.2 You may use the website for personal purposes in accordance with these terms.

·       4.3 You may print or download content for personal use only, without modification or reproduction.

5. Price and Payment

·       5.1 Prices are as quoted on our website or agreed otherwise, except in cases of obvious error or something more specific what is not in my website.

·       5.2 Prices may change at any time but will not affect confirmed orders.

·       5.3 Delivery costs are added to the total amount.

·       5.4 Payment can be made via Stripe,PayPal or bank transfer.

6. Delivery

·       6.1 Goods will be delivered to the address you provide. Please include a postcode and detailed instructions to avoid delays.

7. Website Use

·       7.1 We strive to keep the website operational at all times but are not liable for downtime.

·       7.2 Any non-personal material posted or sent to the website is considered non-confidential and may be used by us.

·       7.3 You must not post or send material that is unlawful, offensive, or harmful.

·       7.4 Linking to our website is permitted under the following conditions:

o   (a) No false endorsement claims

o   (b) No misrepresentation of relationship

o   (c) No offensive or infringing content on the linking site

8. Disclaimer

·       8.1 We aim to keep website information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee it.

·       8.2 All content is provided without warranty. Use it at your own discretion.

9. Exclusion of Liability

·       9.1 We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from use of the website.

·       9.2 Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence under Irish law.

10. Law and Jurisdiction

·       10.1 These terms are governed by Irish law.

·       10.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.

11. Privacy Policy

·       11.1 We collect personal details to process orders and protect your privacy in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988.

·       11.2 We will not email you or share your details with third parties without consent.

·       11.3 Payment details are encrypted and handled securely by Stripe and Permanent TSB; we do not see or store them.

·       11.4 You may contact us to verify or correct your personal information.

12. Returns Policy

·       12.1 Damaged items are rare due to careful packaging. If your item arrives damaged, contact us for a replacement.

·       12.2 If dissatisfied, contact us for a refund or exchange.

·       12.3 Orders not yet dispatched may be cancelled for a full refund.

·       12.4 Refunds may take up to 21 days due to Stripe processing.

13. Cancellation Policy

·       13.1 Cancel 48+ hours before your event: 100% refund.

·       13.2 Cancel 24–48 hours before your event: 50% refund.

·       13.3 Cancel less than 24 hours before your event: no refund.

·       13.4 If unpaid at the time of cancellation, a cancellation invoice will be issued for the full product price (excluding delivery).

·       This policy covers preparation time, materials, and scheduling commitments.

14. Balloon Care Tips

To help your balloons last longer:

·       Helium is safe and non-flammable. Do not inhale it.

·       Keep balloons at a constant room temperature.

·       Avoid extreme cold (deflation) or heat (balloons may pop).

Please remember :
• Balloons are not toys and are for display purposes only.
• Helium balloons are intended for indoor use.
• Do not release outdoors. Pin it & bin it.
• Adults should supervise young children at all times when around helium balloons.
Our 200% warranty is offered ONLY if you let us know something is wrong, BEFORE your event is starting.
